Georgians Tennis in the Park

As part of its overall philosophy for tennis across the whole of the Borough, Georgians Tennis in the Park will offer tennis programmes which are accessible and affordable to the community with an aim of getting more people playing, staying fit and active and giving those participants wishing to improve and compete the opportunities to do so.

Georgians Tennis in the Park very much share the LTA Vision of Tennis Opened Up and believe the programme philosophy will help grow the sport and produce future champions. It will create top quality programmes of group coaching sessions for both adults and junior players of all levels.

Georgians Tennis in the Park will forge relationships with local schools as well as national charities such as Tennis for Free to show that tennis is a game that can be played by and benefit everyone, regardless of ability or social background. Getting people back into tennis as well as bringing new people to the sport is a key goal of the programme
